PWHL Detroit announced the signing of forward Daryl Watts on Friday, making her the team’s first-ever player.

Watts accepted Detroit’s lone expansion foundational offer, opting for a four-year deal with the team. She scored 19 points in 27 games with the Toronto Sceptres last season.
Detroit still has four Phase Two signings to make as part of the PWHL expansion dispersal process. Phase Two is set to wrap up on Monday.
