The Detroit Red Wings announced their slate of preseason exhibition games for 2023 yesterday.
It’s a familiar-looking schedule, with the Wings once again playing eight games broken down into home and away matchups with the Chicago Blackhawks, Pittsburgh Penguins, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Washington Capitals – the same four teams as they faced in the 2022 preseason.
The full schedule is as follows:
- September 26, 2023 – vs. Pittsburgh
- September 28, 2023 – at Washington
- September 30, 2023 – vs. Washington
- October 1, 2023 – vs. Chicago
- October 3, 2023 – at Chicago
- October 4, 2023 – at Pittsburgh
- October 6, 2023 – at Toronto
- October 7, 2023 – vs. Toronto
