Interesing bit from Christy over at BtJ just popped across the feedreader.
Apparently a valid-looking Facebook page for Valtteri Filppula briefly reported that he’d been traded to Atlanta. It’s not confirmed whether that’s actually his Facebook page (if he even has one) and the news has since been pulled.
As Christy notes, it would have to be a deal for Marian Hossa and Ken Holland would only pay that much if Hossa signed a contract extension. We’ll see if anything comes of this.
