Detroit has played at home against one of those six teams on October 15 four times. In 1972 they earned a 8-2 win over the Kings. In 1981 it was a 6-3 win over the Blues. 1986 saw a 4-3 loss to the Kings but it was in overtime. Finally, in 2009, the Wings beat the Kings, 5-2.
