If, for some reason, you ever thought there was no need for video review in the NHL, I submit the goalie interference penalty on Detroit’s Luke Glendening in tonight’s game against the Washington Capitals.

There is too much technology available to get a call like this wrong and there is no excuse for an official to make a call that he clearly didn’t see happen because it didn’t happen.
