It was revealed yesterday that the Red Wings were close to signing Todd Bertuzzi to a two-year contract extension and today the team made it official.
Financial terms weren’t officially announced but TSN’s Bob McKenzie has it as $1.975 million for the first year and $2.075 for the second, for a cap hit of $2.025 million. The deal reportedly includes a no-trade clause.
