  • It would seem to.

  • We should have released Hasek and tried to trade next to nothing for Bryzgalov…. yeah it probably would have difficult if not impossible salary wise, but having him in net would be amazing.

  • The rumors I heard (which could just be theories as they were all fourth-hand stuff) was that Burke treated Bryzgalov like Holland did Osgood in 2001. He would rather have given him up for nothing on waivers than make a bad trade just to get anything for him. Which would explain why Tampa didn’t try or Pittsburgh or any of those teams.

  • Ozzies’ hot, Hasek’s not. So, why not stick with hot.

  • Does this mean Hasek will get the start against Montreal?

If I remember correctly Babcock said he wanted to give Hasek a start for one of them. =/

  • Don’t like picking on Lilja, but seems he is quite prone to give-aways that lead to opponent goals.

  • Love to see guys like HUDLER / CLEARY / FILPULA involved in so much of the WING offense, goals, shots on net, AND the back and fore checking.

  • Nice to see the Wings able to rebound from an awful second period. They’re scoring in spurts right now it seems, pairs of quick goals here and there. Not a problem, I don’t think, especally with some of that all-important secondary scoring showing up.

Cleary’s goal was very nice, came off a nice pass as well.
