Alright, I have to admit that I botched this one a bit.

The above is still true but it doesn’t apply very well to tonight’s game. For some reason, I had it in my head that the Red Wings were hosting the Capitals tonight. Blame the medical scenario I mentioned in my pre-deadline digest, I suppose, as it left me rushing and without access to my usual tools.

So…  Oops.  I’m not going to come up with a new SSOTD but I will own up to this one not meeting my standards.
