It’s the Red Wings’ final game before the All-Star break and they’re hosting the Minnesota Wild.
Barring injuries, it’ll be a true break for the Red Wings, as with Jimmy Howard hurt, they currently have no players slated to head to Columbus for the All-Star activities.
Detroit is coming off a wild comeback win over the Buffalo Sabres on Sunday for their fourth consecutive win. Goalie Petr Mrazek, who was pulled after allowing three goals on six shots, will look to bounce back as he gets the start again tonight.
No lineup changes are expected for the Wings but between the Buffalo game and practices since, the line blender is in full effect.
Stupid stat of the day: The Red Wings are 17-15-8 all-time in their last game before the All-Star Game.
Game time is 7:30 PM on FSD.
