Pregame: Blackhawks @ Red Wings – 11/14

After what seems like several months off, the Red Wings host the Chicago Blackhawks tonight.

The time off has been good for Pavel Datsyuk, who will return from his groin injury to join a line with Tomas Jurco and Justin Abdelkader.

To make room for Datsyuk and Jurco, Daniel Cleary and Andrej Nestrasil are back out of the lineup. Stephen Weiss remains on IR and Brian Lashoff will be the healthy scratch on the blue line.

Jimmy Howard gets the start in goal with Tom McCollum backing up.

Stupid stat of the day: The last time the Red Wings and Blackhawks played on November 14, Brendan Shanahan scored the overtime game-winner for Detroit.
