The Detroit Red Wings carry a 2-1 series lead into tonight’s matchup as they host the Chicago Blackhawks in Game Four of their Western Conference Semifinal matchup.
The Wings can take a stranglehold on the series with a win while the ‘Hawks can regain home-ice advantage in the series with a split of the Detroit games.
Detroit will make no lineup changes but, looking to get some production out of their power play, will swap Daniel Cleary in for Gustav Nyquist on the second power play unit. Coach Mike Babcock says he’s looking for more of a grinding presence on the power play.
Stupid stat of the day: The Red Wings are undefeated (2-0) all-time on May 23. They last played on this day in 1996. In each of their May 23 games, Detroit has scored six goals.
Game time is 8:00 PM on NBCSN.
