Wings’ Preseason Schedule Released

470

The Red Wings released their exhibition schedule for 2010 today and they’ve cut a game from their usual nine-game slate, with eight games against four teams.

Games against the Pittsburgh Penguins start and end the schedule, with a home-and-home series against each of three Original Six rivals falling in the middle.

The schedule is as follows:

September 22 – @ Pittsburgh – 7:00 PM
September 24 – vs. Chicago – 7:00 PM
September 25 – @ Chicago – Time TBD
September 26 – NY Rangers – 5:00 PM
September 29 – @ NY Rangers – 7:00 PM
October 1 – Toronto – 7:00 PM
October 2 – @ Toronto – 7:00 PM
October 3 – Pittsburgh – 5:00 PM

For the record, I had previously guessed that the Wings would visit the Leafs on that date. I’ll be in the GTA that weekend for a wedding, meaning I’ll make the same trip as the Wings but won’t be able to catch the game.
