The Red Wings wrap up their five-game road trip tonight in St. Louis as Johan Franzen returns to the lineup.
Franzen may be back but that doesn’t mean the Wings are healthy. Tomas Holmstrom will be a game-time decision, Patrick Eaves is out, and Niklas Kronwall remains out.
Jimmy Howard gets the start.
I’ll likely miss this one live as I’m stuck with a ton of work to do on an insane deadline.

Checking in briefly and I see the fourth line has a goal. Weird night, I guess.

Looks like they managed to get their third period collapse started in the second period tonight. So I’m not missing anything worthwhile?

Datsyuk is giving them a chance. One more to gooooo!

Holy crap! The Wings actually tied it up!

I think it’s dumb that all the games keep going to overtime. I mean, it’s exciting sometimes. It’s getting a little old to me now, though. Hahaha.

Holy christ, it’s tied? I might need to turn this on.
Clark RasmussenFebruary 10, 2010 3:37 AM
I thought that was in, but thank god it was just the crossbar
Mathieu_Datsyuk132351February 10, 2010 3:41 AM
I just laughed at Howard’s attempt to stop Boyes in the shootout.

Is anyone surprised that Howard looked like an idiot twice on three shots? The guy kicks ass in the game but when it gets to the skills competition he’s got no clue. Ugh.
Still don’t agree with Williams shooting second but I’d have been wrong tonight, that was a nice move.

Didn’t stop watching after they went down 3-1, I’m glad they pulled a point out of this game, to keep themselves in breathing distance of 8th spot. Amidst all the inconsistency this year, the rock for the wings has been lidstrom. This guy is an amazing hockey player.
