Rafalski Out, Kindl to Make NHL Debut

The Red Wings are down yet another player, as Brian Rafalski will miss tonight’s matchup with the Edmonton Oilers with a sore back. Jakub Kindl, called up yesterday from the Grand Rapids Griffins, will make his NHL debut.

That’s the only lineup change for Detroit.

Up front, Ville Leino and Todd Bertuzzi will switch lines as coach Mike Babcock tries to get Pavel Datsyuk going.

Jimmy Howard will get the start in net.

Game time is 7:00, moved up from the originally-scheduled time of 7:30.
