Geez, no one’s posted yet? Well, this game is far from boring
4:58 left in the first with a goal by Hudler and two by Kopecky. Edmonton’s had one good chance, I think! ;D
I’m sorry, I’m terrible at summarizing.

Good saves by Osgood. Some pushing going around in front of the net. 2:57 left.
2:35 left, penalty to the Oilers. Already have two power-play goals.
And now Rafalski to the box ten seconds later.

Fight between Lilja and Souray.
Holy lord, Lilja actually took someone down! I am shocked beyond belief!
Mathieu_Datsyuk132351November 21, 2008 2:46 AM
What better way to make a statement than to have Lilja drop the gloves!
SYfanSDNovember 21, 2008 3:04 AM
The second power play goal (third goal) was changed and given to Datsyuk. I’m still happy Kopecky got a goal, though! <3
Mathieu_Datsyuk132351November 21, 2008 3:05 AM
Wow! Nick’s first penalty. Kind of weak though…
SYfanSDNovember 21, 2008 3:11 AM
Wow! Nick’s first penalty. Kind of weak though…
Haha, awesome. Join the bandwagon! <3
12:20 left. Edmonton still on the powerplay. Still not much happening.
Powerplay over.

Stuart mixing it up a little again.

Okay, I’m confused as hell. I get in the car after soccer and hear that Kopy has two *power play* goals? One’s been taken away but what the hell was he doing out there on the PP?
And there’s no Larry Murphy. That was just explained but it was jarring.
No Kronwall tonight?
Clark RasmussenNovember 21, 2008 3:23 AM
Having Craig Simpson with Ken Daniels is a little different, I hope Murph’s daughter is all right. Here comes another weak penalty! Crap I tell you! Where is Mickey when you need him!
SYfanSDNovember 21, 2008 3:24 AM
Kronner is out with a lower body injury and Homer was a gametime decision with no reason given.
SYfanSDNovember 21, 2008 3:26 AM
8:41 left and Cogliano scores for the Oilers.
Darn, no 4 – 0 shutout again =/

They said he had back spasms.
Mathieu_Datsyuk132351November 21, 2008 3:27 AM
Ozzie shoulda had that but it only happened ’cause the D was out of position.
Clark RasmussenNovember 21, 2008 3:27 AM
Damn! There goes the shutout! And of course it would come on the power play…
SYfanSDNovember 21, 2008 3:28 AM
That was bush league!
SYfanSDNovember 21, 2008 3:33 AM
I assume Nick is following Steive’s lead with the visor after a facial injury?
SYfanSDNovember 21, 2008 3:36 AM
Jiri Hudler gets his second of the night! Power-play goal.
Lmao, poor Craig Simpson. His name pronunciations are terrible.
Mathieu_Datsyuk132351November 21, 2008 3:37 AM
Hudler is an animal!! Him along with Kopecky have been awesome on the PP tonight!
SYfanSDNovember 21, 2008 3:38 AM
Ily guys, but I have French homework.
Be good commentators when I’m gone, and maybe keep your fingers crossed that Hudler will get a hat trick?

Hello all. I’m back
DetroitRiverNovember 21, 2008 3:58 AM
Welcome back. Good game to make a return.
Clark RasmussenNovember 21, 2008 4:15 AM
Aww damn, this could get bad.
Clark RasmussenNovember 21, 2008 4:19 AM
Wings hold on for the win. That got a little hairy there. Not bad, though, not bad at all.

The Red Wings begin a Western Canada road trip in Edmonton tonight, granting the Oilers a rematch after Detroit’s 4-0 win at the Joe on Monday.
Dustin Penner is back in the lineup for Edmonton now that Fernando Pisani is out with a broken ankle.
Chris Osgood gets the start in net for the Wings.
Those are the only two lineup changes from Monday (as far as I’ve seen).
I’ll be catching up with the game a little late, it’s a 9:00 start and I’ve got an 8:30 soccer game.
