Howard’s used to playing a lot of games in a row, so you can go with him. I say go with Osgood, though. The same reason why I say you go with Hasek in the playoffs if he’s healthy, you go with your #1 guy.

It’s Ozzie that gets the start. Theodore goes for Colorado.

Oh sh*t, Nick’s hurt.

Chelios gets the Wings out in front! Smart, smart play by Holmstrom to let the pass get back to Cheli.

Looks like Ian Lapperiere went to the Claude Lemeiux School of Turtling. Is that a learned skill or do they just grow them like that out in Denver?
Very much liking where this game is going. Ozzie looks strong and the Wings scoring is clicking, even if half of it’s been on the power play. I missed Filppula’s goal while on the phone with a client, though.

Awesome plays by Pavel and Zetterburg!
I really do like this game, too! It’s nice to be on the winning side again!

Freep’s notes on Lidstrom…
Lidstrom did not suffer a concussion, according to team spokesman John Hahn. And while the knee injury didn’t appear serious, he was held out of the remainder of Monday’s game for precautionary reasons.
It is very nice to see the wings playing like they should be.
I’m still not completely sold though.
Either way….
I’m kind of suprised…it almost looks like the Avs/Redwings rivalry hasn’t completely died afterall!
although it more looks like it’s just desperate avs players.
I will shed a tear for nick Lidstrom tonight.

Nice shutout! Hopefully Nick will be back in action real soon. I hate to say it but we need him like a fish needs water

This game is why I haven’t been too worried through the skid. Solid game all around, the kind of game the Wings are used to playing.
Now lets just hope that Lidstrom is alright and everything’s back to good.

Let’s not forget about Kronwall & Ralfalski, guys! >:|
That game was fan-freakin’-tastic! I mean, I was so happy to watch it. It kept my attention the whole game! So, in the words of Mathieu Schneider, “stellar”.
Probably my favorite game out of the whole season (besides the two where Valtteri scored two goals each!)
At this hour, As to tonights game in Denver, starting goalie is still undecided.
