I’d say it depends on if they’re starting Snow or DiPietro. Their skaters are a little bit worse than last season (although I think they got the steal of the summer in sending the now-ineffective Michael Peca to Edmonton for Mike York), they’re really missing Aucoin and Hamrlik.
It’s a game the Wings should be able to win, that’s sure, I’m just not sure I’d call it easy. Hopefully they can tear apart some of these Eastern Conference teams and get back on a roll.

The goalie really doesn’t matter when you have guys like Zetterberg and Datsyuk up front. I would like to see a really high scoring game with Stevie Y notching at least two goals and two assists. That way he will walk with being the all time wings leader in assists.

Ugh, one good period ruined by a fluky goal and then the Wings just quit. Getting tired of seeing that.
