Nice to see that the wings were able to snap their losing streak against Colorado, however I feel that since there have been so many moves by players ths year (like McCarty) that the classic rivalry has lost some of its edge.

I thought it had lost its edge even before this year, but it’s still fun to watch. It’ll either regain some of its intensity or fade away once the Wings get into the Eastern Conference after the Penguins relocate in a couple years. Playing the Avs once a season at best and possibly meeting them in the Cup Finals will do that.

just give it one one playoff series it everything will be back to how it used to be.
