Now that Shanahan’s got the Wings up by one, I wouldn’t complain if the rest of the game goes by without a goal, penalty, icing, offsides, or anything else that will cause a stoppage. These late games are killer, anything to get it over sooner is good in my book.
And I hate that the late games do that. Normally I don’t want games to end, right now I just want to be able to go to sleep.

Some thoughts to keep me awake during the second intermission…
It’s nice to see Yzerman back out on the ice. Seems to be playing pretty well, also good to see.
I hate the “A clever warrior…” NHL commercial. How did a beer company (Molson) and a video game (NHL 06) make better “hockey’s back” commercials than the league itself?
