The Detroit Red Wings lost their third center in less than a week to injury on Monday night, as newly-acquired Robert Lang left the game with just over two minutes remaining in the second period.

Lang has been diagnosed with a rib injury and will miss the next three weeks. He had played just four games with the Red Wings after being traded from the Washington Capitals.

Detroit is also without centers Kris Draper and Pavel Datsyuk, defensemen Mathieu Dandenault, Jason Woolley and Niklas Kronwall, and goaltender Dominik Hasek. Defenseman Derian Hatcher and goalie Curtis Joseph returned from injury Monday night.
