Dude it’s the Hawks. I think Cujo will be ok vs that Powerhouse. It’s kind of sad how the rivalry has diminished since the Wings got Chelly. 😎

Good post Keyer, that’s a pretty interesting point.
The thing that strikes me in all of that is how GREAT a deal Zetterberg is! Do you know off hand how much they pay Datsyuk? I’ll bet its around what they are paying Zetterberg.
The other thing to consider though is that Detroit is one of the best hockey markets in the United States and all the teams you mentioned, except for Edmonton and Minnessota, are not traditionally strong markets for the sport. With a fan base like the Red Wings have, you can afford to spend that kind of money and still run a profitable team.

The sad thing is how much the Wings are paying Devereaux and Dandy. But they did resign Wooley at a bargain price.
Well SR….
HOLLAND and CO. must see them differently then you or the others on the boards that agree that they aren’t worth their pay.
Neither of them got a HUGE raise, in their contracts and I think both were either just a year or possibly Dandy for 2.
Both know that they could be trade bate. So they work their butts off to prove to the Coaches and Management that they shouldn’t go.
In the last two games…they have worked their tails off. I’m not a huge fan of either of these two…but I will go to bat when they are being picked on…
Which in MY oh so humble opinion…you are

Picked on? I don’t know them well enough to pick on them. You must know them well to care so much. 😎
