After two years with the Minnesota Wild, former Detroit Red Wing Stacy Roest is returning to the team he spent his first two NHL seasons with.
Roest, 28, broke into the NHL with the Red Wings in 1998. He scored 11 goals and added 17 assists in 108 games for Detroit before being selected by Minnesota in the Expansion Draft.
Roest had 17 goals and 31 assists in 134 games with the Wild.
Terms of the one-year deal were not announced.
